Hi, I’m Josie.

I’m a Queensland-based graphic designer with a soft spot for beautiful typography, thoughtful details and designs that don’t quite follow the rules.

With 20 years of experience in graphic design, I’ve always loved the process of bringing ideas to life through typography, colour and thoughtful details. HelloJosie began as a creative side project, designing wedding invitations for friends, and grew into something much more than I ever expected.

A little different, by design.

One of my earliest designs was a retro gaming-inspired wedding invitation. I created it simply because I loved the idea, never imagining it would become my best seller.

But it did. And it taught me something important: couples weren’t just looking for pretty invitations. Many were looking for something that felt like them, even if it was a little unexpected.

So I kept experimenting. Celestial designs, gothic details, playful themes and unconventional ideas all found their way into the collection. And to my delight, people loved them.

That’s what HelloJosie has become: a place for wedding invitations with personality. Designs for couples who want something a little different, whether that’s dark and dramatic, whimsical and dreamy, or bold and playful.

HelloJosie is still my creative side project, but it’s grown into something far more special than I ever expected. I’m so glad I get to create for couples who aren’t afraid to do things a little differently.
